Welcome to EtowahEagles.com. Etowah High School
is located in the Metro Atlanta Area just off
I-575 in southern Cherokee County. Etowah will be
competing in Region 5-AAAAA. The seven schools in
our region include: Cherokee, Etowah, Lassiter,
Marietta, Walton, Wheeler, and Woodstock High
Schools.

Etowah High School has been named a 2010
National Blue Ribbon School for high
performance by the United States
Department of Education. EHS is one
of only 304 public and private schools in
the United States to achieve this honor.
This is one of the most prestigious
awards earned by any school in the United
States. This honor reflects and
recognizes the hard work and dedication
to academic achievement by our teachers,
staff, parents, and students. Congratulations
and let us all continue to work to be one
of the best high schools in America.

Georgia to receive the Gold Award from
the Governor’s Office of Student
Achievement to recognize outstanding
student achievement in academics. |

Georgia Department of Education has
announced that Etowah High School has
been named as a Georgia School of
Excellence. This is a very big
award for our school and again displays
the great dedication our teachers have
for teaching our students and their
dedication to their academic work.
Etowah was one of only four high schools
in Georgia to receive this award. Again,
thank the teachers and students for your
work in making this award happen for
