HOW IT WORKS, HOW MANY
TEAMS?
Every year you will see freshman playing
on the JV team and occasionally we have very talented freshman
on the Varsity team. We place our most talented players
on the Varsity and the next best on the JV. After these
teams are filled ( usually 15-18 players) we will determine if
we have enough freshmen to field a third competitive
team. All high school teams are limited by the GHSA to
the number of games each can play. Further, many schools
we compete against will not field freshman teams, so
scheduling games can sometime be difficult. This year we
will likely have two teams, however, we are anxiously awaiting
our player turnout to demonstrate to us, their overall talent
and desire.
