The kick-off to the season.
All teams are formally announced,
there is a dunk contest, three
point contest, varsity scrimmage
and dessert. It's a fun evening
and the only time until the
end-of -year banquet that all
players and their parents will be
together. There will also be a
parent meeting where the coaches
will let you know the

school nights where young
athletes from Bascomb/Boston/Oak
Grove/Chapman/Booth/ are invited
to an Etowah Varsity basketball
game. Kids get to see what high
level of basketball is played at
the high school and may leave
with a great sense of budding
school spirit. Duty: Contact
school administrators and prepare
flyers for the feeder school
participants advertising this
event. Each school can come on a
different night and be recognized
