VARSITY GIRLS
Etowah
64 - Sequoyah 30
The
varsity girls season remains perfect at
3-0 with a convincing 64-30 win over the
Sequoyah Lady Chiefs. Etowah jumped out
to an early 9-2 lead en route to closing
out the quarter on top 15-7. The Lady
Eagles kept solid pressure on the Lady
Chiefs only allowing four points in the
second quarter, taking a double digit
advantage to the locker room by a score
of 25-11.
Etowah continued this strong play en
route to building a twenty-one point
margin midway through the third quarter
before heading into the final eight
minutes up 46-22. The fourth quarter was a
repeat of the first three as it was all
Etowah cruising to a thirty-four point
victory.
The Lady Eagles put three players in
double figures, led by Alicia Manning
with 19, Krysta Lewis and Lindsey Mason
with 12 and 10 respectively.
Congratulations to the varsity girls on
contributing to the fourth consecutive
victory over the Lady Chiefs.
