I would just like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in our Eaglemania for this season. I thought that once again it was a tremendous success. All of the planning and volunteers who took time to help us out was greatly appreciated. I am looking forward to an exciting season at all levels of basketball for the upcoming season. I do encourage those of you that have not volunteered to make yourself available , because this time with your child will be gone before you know it. I still firmly believe that participation in athletics is still one of the best things we can offer our children. There are many lessons through participation on a team that cannot be learned anywhere else. Once again , congratulations to all of our players and parents for being selected to be a part of Etowah Eagle Basketball. Let’s have another banner raising year!

Welcome to another season of Etowah Basketball and Congratulations on your son's selection as a member of the 2006-2007 Etowah Boys Basketball Program. Whether he has been named to the Freshmen, JV, or Varsity teams, it is, indeed, an honor and a privilege to wear the Blue and Gold of Etowah High School. We know you are as excited and proud as we are of his accomplishment.
On the heels of the most exciting and successful basketball season in the history of Etowah High School, the anticipation and expectations for the 2006-2007 season are at an all time high. Once again, the Boys summer season was very busy, yet very successful, with over 40 boys participating in the open gym workouts and summer league games. Using two different teams, we played 44 games throughout the Metro Area. The boys returned to camp this fall with a renewed enthusiasm and focus, and over 65 boys attempted to make one of our 3 teams. We are convinced that their hard work and commitment will be worth it as we try to uphold the high standards set by Etowah High School for its student athletes. We will continue to strive for excellence in our program, not only on the court, but in the classroom as well.
We are committed to turning out the best young men that we can. Our staff will work hard to teach your son about basketball, life, and success. |
