8TH RECREATION
LEAGUE
2007-2008 BASKETBALL
INFORMATION
This
league is for ET Booth students and is
sponsored by the Etowah Basketball Tip
Off Club. It is not affiliated
with the ET Booth Intramural basketball
program or the ET Booth
"School" basketball teams that
students try-out for. It is
designed for any student that
wants to play in recreational league
basketball games and improve their
playing skills. No physicals are
required.
The season
runs from October 30th to approximately
February 15th. Practices and
games are held at the ET Booth and Etowah
gymnasiums and games are played on
Saturdays and Sundays. Most weekday
practice times will be 8:30 to 9:30 PM.
This is due to the gymnasiums only being
available after the high school and
middle school teams are finished with
their practice times.
2007 - 2008 REGISTRATION
Registration
is through October 19th. You can register
online or forms can be picked up and
dropped off in the ET Booth front office.
You are encouraged to register even if
you plan to try out for the school team
because space is limited.
Monies do not need to be
sent with registration but will be due at
skills assessments (Oct. 20th and 21st)
which are after the school teams are
finalized on Oct. 19th. This allows
students to try out for the school
teams while holding a spot in the
recreation league. Registrations will
be returned to anyone making the school
teams.
The
registration fee is $120.00 (make
checks payable to Etowah Youth
Basketball) and includes:
- Eight
players per team maximum
- Jersey
provided for each player
- Weekly
game & practice
- Eight
to ten game schedule
- Season
end tournament - 1st
& 2nd place team
trophies
- Secondary
medical insurance

Skills
Assessments at E.T. Booth Gym and $115.00
Payment Due: (all players must attend
anytime on either day)

October 20th -- 9:00 AM to 12:00
PM
- Sunday,
October 21st 1:00 PM to
4:00 PM
- Payment
not received by October 21st at
4:00 PM will void registration
