| Alumni Association |
One of our visions is to
construct an Etowah High School alumni
database. The database could be used by
former students to put together reunions,
and to facilitate people keeping up with
one another after graduation. We need a
person with experience in data-based web
sites to help us construct the database.
If you have experience in this area, we
welcome your participation. In the
meantime, if you are a former student, we
invite you to register with
Classmates.com, a for-profit website.
Over 2000 former Etowah students
currently reside on the Classmates.com database. Base
registration is free, although the site
charges for premium services. (The Etowah
Foundation receives no benefit from the
site.) |
| Fundraising |
Develop and carry out
projects to raise money for activities
undertaken by Etowah High School
Foundation |
| Freshman Orientation
|
Provide incoming freshmen
with more information about Etowah to
ease their transition from E. T. Booth
and to increase parental awareness about
the Foundation, PTSA, etc. |
| Grant Development |
One of the key ways a
Foundation raises money is through
grants. Corporations, government
agencies, and other non-profit
organizations offer funding for a wide
variety of needs. The Foundation is
beginning to work with Etowah's teachers
to determine specific needs that might be
met through grant funding. If you are
interested in participating in the
procurement of grants, or if you
have information about the availability
of specific grants, please contact the
Foundation. |
